My name is Vincent Mard. I was born in 1998 in Magstadt, Germany, and grew up in Saxony-Anhalt - somewhere between those places, I developed my eye for the unique and the unnoticed. In 2014, I held my first camera and haven’t put it down since.

Architecture and street photography are where I feel most at home. I love capturing lines, shapes, and structures with intention. Sometimes I abstract reality, other times I show it as it is - raw, direct, and unfiltered. What we notice - and what we don’t - always depends on the viewer’s perspective.
After graduating from high school, I completed a voluntary social year at the Heidersberger Institute in Schloss Wolfsburg. That time deepened my interest in photography and marked the beginning of my professional journey. I later completed my training and earned my "master craftsman’s" certificate in photography.
What matters most to me: My photographs should be more than just visually pleasing. I want to create atmosphere, evoke curiosity, and offer space for interpretation. Ideally, a second glance reveals something that wasn’t obvious at first. Sometimes I tell stories. Sometimes, it’s all about pure visual harmony.
